Coolsculpting Before And After Arms

Coolscultping has been used on arms for many years now, however, this is area was not approved by the FDA, and there was no applicator specifically for arm treatments.

The distance between the armpit and elbow is different for each person.

This is a limitation with the applicator being used because its length cannot be adjusted.

As of summer 2017, Coolsculpting has released a brand new hand piece, the CoolAdvantage Petite.

This applicator is FDA Approved specifically for arm treatments, remember it is always important to have your treatment completed by an experienced provider. (Thomas E. Kaniff, MD, FACS, Sacramento Facial Plastic Surgeon)

Does CoolSculpting Work For Your Arms

The arms can safely be treated with CoolSculpting with their newest applicator. It is best to always have a consultation to ensure this is the right treatment for you and that you are a good candidate to see the best results. (Randolph Capone, MD, FACS, Baltimore Facial Plastic Surgeon)

The Coolsculpting machine was designed for flanks (love handles) then expanded to the abdominal area with a larger applicator.

When we have attempted to do arms and inner thighs for that matter, our client satisfaction rate fell from 100% to around 60%.

We have found that arms and thighs are better treated with our Smartlipo solution and that is currently what we advise on a case by case basis. When you have multiple solutions there is no need to force a device into service for an area that it was not intentionally designed for. (Stephen A. Brown, MD, Hartford Plastic Surgeon)

Flabby Upper Arms

Three years ago I would have said it depends, and not everyone is a candidate. Those caveats still apply, but with the introduction of the Cool Petite applicator Zeltiq has an applicator tailor made for arm treatments.

A lot has changed with Coolsculpting over the past several years. If you have unwanted fat, you can probably treat it with Coolsculpting. (Sarah A. Mess, MD, Columbia Plastic Surgeon)

Cool Sculpting for Upper Arm Fat

Every area treated with CoolSculpting always requires assessment before being able to say if the area can be treated or not. With that said, yes, the upper arm can be treated with CS and we have seen some of our best results on the back upper arm area.

Truly, the arm results are some of the most dramatic and beautiful results we have seen. (Edward Stokes, MD, West Hollywood Physician)
