It ordinarily  takes between five and ten days for Botox to begin working. Many patients experience tightness or heaviness in the forehead at this point which may last an additional week. It is not unusual to have some wound separation at the T area in a breast reduction. This is caused by a combination of the tightness of the closure, and decreased blood supply to the tips of the skin flaps. Sometimes, in addition, patients can have a reaction to the deeper suture material. Certainly,the frequency is higher in smokers. This will heal with conservative treatment. Speak with your plastic surgeon as to what he/she recommends for treatment.
