Thank you for your question. This is completely normal and should improve with time. Sometimes I will suggest that a patient gently massage the area, and may even inject a little kenalog (steroid) in the area to help it soften - but this is entirely up to your surgeon. This is likely due to the stitch that was used in the canthopexy - and it will settle. Best of luck!

Thank you for your question. You seem to have a very nice result. Given your frame, and how thin you are, some rippling is a potential. There are certain things that can be done - changing the implant type (smooth vs. textured), or profile, of even fat grafting to the area (but you have to have some fat to do this!), but if it is subtle then it may be easier in the long run to just leave it be. Thank you for your question. This happens all the time with this type of surgery - try and follow the recommendations of your Plastic Surgeon and go from there. Chances are you will eventually heal up just fine, and the scars will likely contract to the point that they will not be very visible. Best of luck!

Thank you for your question. Nothing takes the place of an in person examination - I would suggest following up with your injector. Sometimes filler can get infected long after it's injected; if this is the case, then it should be dissolved and you you will likely need a course of antibiotics. However, nothing takes the place of an in person examination, and you should start with that. Best of luck!

Any time surgery is performed there can be swelling - even if you are feeling well, swelling can still exist. I would listen to your surgeon and try and be as patient as possible. Follow his advice and just go from there! Try not to look at your results every day - give things some time to settle and to heal. Regardless, you could not have achieved what you wanted to achieve with one syringe of filler.
