Thank you for this question. It is very common for one side to need treatment.  Depending on the length of time you have had your implant (as well as other factors), your surgeon will determine the best treatment plan.  Sometimes one side can be treated, other times both need to be addressed.  I advise an in-person exam and consultation to discuss your options. 
For 3 weeks, I've had a sharp pain behind my left breast that pulls. Advice?

Hello, I am sorry to hear you are experiencing pain.  It would be advisable for you to make an appointment with your surgeon (or another board certified plastic surgeon) to do an exam.   There are a number of things that could cause pain.  Since you have had your implants for 18 years, it may be time for you to exchange them. Hello,It is always best to do an in person evaluation to determine the best treatment plan.  Looking at your photos, I don't know that a mini tummy tuck would work well for you.  Very few patients are good candidates for a mini which only addresses the skin and muscle below the navel.   There is a very good chance you need muscle tightening of the entire abdomen. Perhaps seek a second opinion by a plastic surgeon who specializes in this area.

Hello, Thank you for the question.  It is common to have swelling at 3 weeks post-op as well as asymmetrical swelling.  Sleeping on your side could potentially cause one side to swell more, so you should ensure you are still sleeping elevated and on your back.  This may help.

Most patients can manage on their own after the first 24 hours, however it is important to discuss this with your surgeon.  You will most likely need transportation to and from the surgeon's office for your initial post operative visit.

Hello,I am sorry to hear that you are living with breasts you dislike.  Most surgeons will agree to discuss a revision surgery if these types of complications occur.  You have a lot of options including revising the pockets and/or size of the implants.  Either visit your implanting surgeon or try getting some consultations with other board certified plastic surgeons to discuss your treatment plan.

It is not uncommon for two expert surgeons to have very different opinions.  Our recommendation when this occurs is to either seek a third opinion (which may or may not be similar) or  to choose the doctor who you feel the most comfortable with.  You need to feel like your treatment plan not only makes sense, but also feel well cared for by the office staff and physician.  Your instinct should lead you to the right office for you.

Hello, Thank you for the question.  I always offer to re-pierce the ears following the repair (at least 6-8 weeks later).  I am sure every practice has different ways of approaching this.  You should be able to have them re-pierced by anyone qualified once the repair has healed.

Hello, Coolsculpting can be performed on any area that we are able to pinch fat, so you could certainly consider it as an option.  What you should think about are your expectations.   Following pregnancy, you may have a separated muscle as well as the loose skin.  A tummy tuck may provide more satisfaction.  I would see a plastic surgeon to discuss all of your options following a physical exam.
