I would not recommend PDO thread lifts with history of most any autoimmune disease, especially sarcoidosis. The risk of nodules and other complications is much higher in my opinion.
My Doctor is ignoring me - what is this lump 3 months after PDO thread brow lift?

Without knowing exactly how the procedure was performed, I am speculating some.... It is possible that it is scar tissue but more likely a thread (or barb of a thread) that is too close to the surface. If it is the thread, it will eventually go away. The physician can also numb a small area and use a needle to try to release the skin from that thread to hasten the process.

The main difference is duration. PCL is much longer lasting than PDO threads. Otherwise, they can be used very similarly.

I would wait until you will not be sky diving for a minimum of 2-4 weeks before getting this procedure done. I have my patients eat a softer diet for 3-5 days and avoid dental procedures for 4 weeks.

You could do a combination of PDO and PLLA threads. You would also be a good candidate for a surgical facelift.

For thread lifts, I like Les Encres and Silhouette Instalift.

You could do fat grafting but this is a difficult procedure to predict outcomes and symmetry because it is difficult to predict what percentage of the fat cells will survive on each side etc.

I would consider a combination of treatments: 1) cheek filler 2) tear trough filler 3) platelet rich plasma. These techniques are somewhat advanced so you do not want to see a novice injector but does not require an oculoplastic surgeon.

What fillers/botox should I get to look younger? Or should I get a lower face lift?

I certainly would not get a surgical facelift at this stage. I would recommend Silhouette Instalift or Les Encres thread lift for the lower face. You could also consider some filler in the cheeks and nasolabial folds and perhaps the chin/lower face but that is easier to evaluate in person or in profile view.

Botox of the lower lid may help some but is an advanced technique so be careful who you go to. Botox for Crows feet may also help. Platelet rich plasma (PRP) injections +/- filler are better for loss of volume in the tear trough.

For just fine lines/wrinkles of the under eye region, I like using PDO threads such as Les Encres. You can also do chemical peels or laser peels to the under eye region but these should be done prior to the absorbable PDO threads.

Great question,

I recommend an overall healthy lifestyle of exercise and good nutrition but no specific vitamins or supplements. I recommend avoiding ibuprofen/aleve/aspirin for 6 weeks following the procedure. If you are over 40, consider evaluation for bio identical hormone replacement therapy for optimal results.

Question about the O shot treatment. If it helps with vaginal atrophy during post menopause period

I would consider getting evaluated for bio identical hormone replacement therapy in conjunction with an O shot. The O shot is great for improving lubrication and returning some of the more youthful feel to the vaginal tissue. If your hormones are balanced well, your results will be considerably better.
Does getting an O-shot hurt?

Most of my patients report 1-3/10 on a pain scale. The numbing cream is absorbed very well on vaginal tissue. I also use an ice cube for the external injection and this seems to help significantly. I have tried nerve blocks but most patients say the nerve block hurts worse than the actual shot.
O-shot, wet & unsatisfied. Would this treatment help me?

The O shot (or possibly 2 spaced 6-12 weeks apart) could be a great option for you. I have seen significant improvement in urinary incontinence, painful intercourse, and improved ability to orgasm. However, each woman responds a bit differently with the orgasm portion. Some have easier orgasms, some have more intense orgasms.

For women who have difficulty reaching orgasm, I usually recommend a type of sound wave therapy ESWT - some call it FemiWave combined with O shot.

I like to do thread lifts for this. I use either Silhouette Instalift or Les Encres. Once everything has settled (6-12 weeks), I sometimes use kybella to dissolve any stubborn areas of fat. The thread lifts actually reposition the fat pads closer to their original position.

I typically inject patients every 9-18 months depending on which filler we use. These treatments can get expensive due to the cost of fillers but it does add a nice amount of girth.
