Managing Facial Asymmetry with Fillers
Feb 19, 2019
Hi Leah. I am sorry about your childhood accident and that your treatment has not met your expectations. When you have an early injury, there is disruption of the how the muscles, nerves and boney tissue develop as you age. Slowly you can develop facial asymmetry over time and it becomes more profound as we age. Firstly, everyone has an asymmetric face and many of the most beautiful women in the world have quite profound asymmetry to their face. The treatment of…
Lips starting to hurt again 1 1/2 weeks after lip filler?
Lip Pain and Swelling Post Filler Injection
Feb 19, 2019
Hi Taylor. There is no need to panic, but it is a concern that your lips were originally fine post injection and are now starting to get sore and swollen. There is a rare but recognized delayed reaction to fillers and this might be happening to your lip filler. It also could be an early infection, which can be related to the reaction to fillers. Please see your treatment provider immediately who should be competent to assess and treat the situation…
Can I still treat breast augmentation scar about 1 year post-op ?
Post surgical scarring
Feb 10, 2019
While ideal to treat early, you still have the ability to improve your scarring but require an expert to assist you as it likely requires combination therapy with specific lasers like Sciton profractional xc, BBL and intralesional steroid injections. Ultimately surgical revision of the scar can be another option. Find someone in your area with experience in this area.

Botox post treatment symptoms.
Feb 9, 2019
First of all there is no shame in volunteering for a training session and hopefully it was supervised by an expert. We really appreciate our customers who donate their time to help us continuously improve. It is very unlikely that your leg symptoms are related to your Botox injection despite increasing the dose beyond what you were expecting. It is not uncommon to use doses in the range of 50-60 units for cosmetic injections and 200 units and more for medical purposes. Your symptoms are…
How do I treat this redness and patchy look after microneedling?
Microneedling redness post treatment
Feb 9, 2019
There are more questions required like is it slowly getting better? Have you changed your skin care post treatment creams? Have you had redness like this before? Is this only on one side of the face? My suggestion would be to follow up with your provider, use only calming/soothing post care products with no acids or potential irritants and keep your hands away from the area.
Tear trough became worse after Teyosal Redensity 2 was used with cannula. What steps should I take
Worsening eye bags
Jan 28, 2019
I am sorry for your result. I have looked at your before and after pictures and you have a challenging under eye to correct with any type of filler and even a high level of expertise. Redensity 2 is a quality filler but your treatment provider needed to discuss having realistic expectations about the correction and that there are risks with making eye bags worse when you are trying to correct for darkness. The product could have been placed a bit high or too…
Still breaking out after 2 months of using Retin-A Micro 0.04%. Should I continue to use it?
Ongoing breakouts
Jan 28, 2019
The combination of Retin-A and Aczone might be helpful for certain types of mild acne but is not helpful in most adult acne, which is hormonal in nature. At this point, I would suggest talking to your skin professional about using some oral(by mouth) medications to control your acne better and this will reduce a lot of frustration. Of course, we all want to try and improve acne with topical treatments but this is rarely effective in controlling all outbreaks.
