Is ThermiSmooth an alternative to hyaluronidase to smooth out bumps, swelling and Tyndall effect from
ThermiSmooth and Facial Fillers
May 22, 2020
In my practice, we have used ThermiSmooth as an alternative to injecting Hyaluronidase to help smooth out any filler irregularities as well as to help with swelling and have had good success. You will most likely need more than one ThermiSmooth treatment to correct the issue as my practice normally does 2-4 treatments.
What’s the best non-invasive approach for crepey neck?
Non-Invasive Neck Treatment
May 22, 2020
Thank you for your photos. Non-invasive options that my patients have really enjoyed are Radio Frequency Microneedling, generally a 3 treatment series done every 4 weeks to help promote skin tightening and collagen production, as well as Ultherapy, a single treatment using Ultrasound therapy to promote collagen and skin tightening in the deeper layers of the skin. We have also seen amazing results in combining these two treatments. Preforming Ultherapy first, then starting the series of…
Do I need more than 10 consistent treatments since hair is back to thick and abundant two months afte
Laser Hair Removal
May 22, 2020
In my practice, patients generally only need 6 treatments with noticeable clearance from 15-30% each treatment. We have our laser hair removal patients coming in every 8 weeks for treatment. Although rare, darker/thicker hair may need additional treatment for full clearance. If the hair has not changed or reduced at all, the laser settings may not be correct for what you need.
Do you believe that in the next 5 years, a new laser -better than Picosure- will appear in the market
Large, Black Tattoo Removal
Oct 4, 2019
The best lasers for tattoo removal currently are the pico-second lasers, PicoWay, PicoSure, and the Cutera Enlighten. My practice utilized the Cutera Enlighten. This laser has both picosecond and nanosecond/Q-switch technology to be able to switch between the two if needed and get wonderful clearance of tattoos, especially black tattoos. Client are treated in 8-12 week intervals depending on location of the tattoo. The closer the tattoo is to the heart, the easier/faster the removal…
What’s the best filler that last longer for deep static frown lines between eyebrows?
Frown Line Filler
Oct 4, 2019
To help with deep, static frown line, also referred to as the “elevens”, I pair Botox/Xeomin/Jeuveau with Bellafill. The neurotoxins will help ensure the wrinkles don’t worsen due to relaxing the glabellar muscle and Bellafill is the only dermal filler that stimulates collagen growth long term to help maintain your appearance for up to 5 years.
These two treatments have proven successful to reduce the static lines as well as prevent worsening in the future in my…
How can I fix my deep cleft chin completely?
Non- Surgical Chin Augmentation
Jul 1, 2019
I typically will improve cleft chins using the longest lasting filler, Bellafill. This filler is FDA approved to last through 5 years and can be reversible if needed. The results are immediate and there is none to very little downtime depending on the patient. Most of my non-surgical chin augmentation patients just report tenderness/soreness up to 4-7 days after the Bellafill injection. Generally, 1 syringe of Bellafill is needed for the chin augmentation.
Due to Bellafill’s…
What treatments can be done to improve my skin texture and Melasma?
Melasma Laser Treatment
Jul 1, 2019
I recommend receiving a treatment series of Pico Genesis.
The Pico Genesis treatment uses laser light to selectively shatter unwanted pigmentation and remodel the upper layer of the skin to return balance, clarity, and radiance to your skin. It is the best and safest treatment for Asian skin tones as well as for anyone with Melasma. Another benefit to the treatment is the remodeling of the upper layer of the skin to help improve the look of texture and fine…

CoolSculpting Protocol
Jun 27, 2019
CoolSculpting is a highly customized treatment that will differ from person to person. Both of these treatments are safe. At Bridgetown Aesthetics, we have done both ways of treating with optimal results. The CoolSculpt protocol would generally follow using the two medium applicators with overlap due to seeing better sculpting of the abdomen rather than treating the area of fat without contouring the applicator and treating the area in a horizontal manner.
It’s been 1 month after my liposuction, can I start doing Venus Freeze?
Venus Freeze Post Liposuction
Jun 19, 2019
Yes, you may start receiving Venus Freeze treatments at 1 month post liposuction. Liposuction clients are generally receiving 3-6 treatments, depending on the area treated, spaced 1 week apart. This will benefit you by using the Radio Frequency penetration to help improve lumpiness and hardness.
Can I use anti-aging creams with skin laser therapy?
IPL Post Care
Jun 3, 2019
After receiving an IPL treatment, our patients are to avoid any irritants to your skin such as any products containing Retin-A, retinol, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic acid/salicylic acid, astringents, or vitamin C for one week prior and post treatment.
You will have a mild sunburn sensation following treatment that is usually gone within a few hours. Skin redness, flaking, mild bruising, and/or slight edema(swelling) is normal and may last a few days. Pigmented areas may begin to…
Would Cryolipolysis cause any damage to a mesh that was fitted for a hernia repair?
CoolSculpting with Mesh
Jun 3, 2019
There is no problem in having CoolSculpting when you have had prior abdominal surgery, ventral hernia repair or mesh placement.
Although, if someone has an untreated hernia in an area of intended CoolSculpting, the hernia should be repaired first and CoolSculpting can be done after adequate time for healing.
How long do I have to wait after Laser Genesis before I get either filler or Dysport/Botox?
Fillers with Laser Genesis
Jun 3, 2019
I advise all patients to wait 2 weeks before and after their Laser Genesis treatment to receive any injectable treatments, especially dermal fillers using Hyaluronic Acid. The heat used in the Laser Genesis treatment can potentially dissolve new filler when a patient does not wait the 2 weeks.
Is Pico Genesis safe to use if I have hyaluronic acid fillers?
Pico Genesis with Fillers
Jun 3, 2019
When it comes to fillers, Pico Genesis is going to be a lower risk due to there being no heat associated to the treatment. Although, in the office we normally will suggest clients wait 2 weeks after receiving any fillers to schedule a Pico Genesis treatment. Pico Genesis targets the unwanted pigmentation using laser light to selectively shatter the pigment and remodel the upper layer of the skin.

Caffeine After CoolSculpting
Jun 3, 2019
Drinking Caffeine after getting the Coolsculpting treatment should not effect your results or recovery. This is mainly because the body does not need to actually burn the fat off or metabolize anything because those cells are dead from the treatment and will be eliminated from the body.
We often tell our clients who are more prone to bruising to avoid caffeine BEFORE their procedures/treatments to help prevent extra bruising but have not had this issue with…
After Vaser lipo when can I start working out again? Should I workout with the foam on?
Working Out Post Vaser Lipo
Jun 3, 2019
Vaser Lipo patients should avoid strenuous activities, lifting over 10 pounds, or aerobic exercise for 2 to 3 weeks post procedure. Generally, at 2 weeks, patients will start resuming normal activity as tolerated. Experiencing more than mild swelling or discomfort may indicate that you are over-doing it. We suggest patients work slowly up to their normal workout routine. Abdominal patients are advised not to focus on just abs in the first week of getting back into the gym.
As…
