After being in practice for a number of years, I decided to add onto my previous training, experience and knowledge of the body and surgical principles and went on to complete a fellowship in cosmetic surgery at an American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery accredited program. By the end of my fellowship, I assisted and performed nearly 500 procedures with emphasis on body and facial cosmetic procedures. I also maintain my original certification every year as required by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. I have held a faculty position and continue to teach residents physicians. Hi Anon453054, Liposuction is a procedure that is meant to remove fat from the compartment underneath the skin. You say that your thighs get larger when you workout. That suggests that it is from muscle mass. As you said you easily gain muscle. Liposuction would not address that. At 5 foot 6 and 125 pounds your BMI is 20.6.
