A Pennsylvania native, Nita Schwartz was admitted, while still in high school, to the accelerated pre-med/Medical program at Pennsylvania State University and Jefferson Medical College. After graduation, she completed an Emergency Medicine Residency and in 1994, moved to San Francisco to be on faculty at UCSF/Stanford University hospitals.

She later continued her work as an emergency physician for Tahoe Emergency Physicians at Barton Hospital and Carson Valley Medical Center. Dr. Schwartz founded and directed the Mountaintop Medical Associates Medical Clinic at Kirkwood Ski Resort, before transferring the enterprise to the local hospital. She is also currently the Medical Director for Kindred Hospice in Carson City. In 2007, Dr. Schwartz founded Minden Med Spa in Minden.

While working at UCSF, she met her husband, Dr. Garrett Schwartz. They currently reside in Genoa, NV with their two children, who are teenagers. She also is on staff at Carson Valley Medical Center

Andrea moved from Annapolis Maryland in 2010. She attended Marist College in Poughkeepsie NY where she majored in Fashion Design and earned a Division 1 Basketball Scholarship. She graduated from Marist and returned back to Annapolis where she met her husband of almost 20 years. Andrea and Per have 4 children. Andrea had her own company designing and making wedding dresses, mother of the bride, bridesmaid and flower girl dresses. Andrea also had a line of ready to wear clothing. Before moving to Nevada, Andrea worked for a company in Baltimore Maryland designing sportswear.

After moving to Nevada, Andrea decided to further her education. Andrea is now a Certified Nursing Assistant, a Laser Technician and a CoolSculpting specialist. Andrea worked at Carson Valley Medical Center before joining the team at Minden Med Spa in May of 2015.

Valen moved from Huntington Beach California to Northern Nevada’s Carson Valley in 2015. She fell in love with the Valley over 25 years ago while visiting family, and now lives with her husband Jim of 35 years in Genoa. While living in California, she worked in the aesthetics realm for 10 years. Valen managed Pier Medical Aesthetics under the the guidance of Cyndee Spear and Dr. Mest, (Featured on the Discovery Health Channel and #1 hit show currently being featured on E!’s hit show Botched). Valen came from an office with extensive work on studies regarding the use of fillers in the treatment of facial lipoatrophy as well as the FDA approval process for Sculptra which made Pier Medical a nationally recognized office in treatment options for lipoatrophy. This experience has given her a vast knowledge of the aesthetics world. In 2015, she attended CoolSculpting University. Valen and her husband raised two beautiful children and have two grandchildren.
