After CS Area Is Bigger
Aug 9, 2023
HI. Thanks for your question. It is possible for an area treated by CS to get bigger, rather than smaller, but this is not common. This is called PAH, which is Paradoxical Adipose Hyperplasia, and occurs approximately 1 in 3000. Your 5kg weight gain could also explain why the area looks bigger.
I suggest you return to the place where you were treated and be evaluated. If there were pre-treatment photos, that can help.
Best of luck.

Will CoolSculpting remove my c-section belly overhang/muffin top?
Belly Overhang
Apr 17, 2020
Hi.  Thanks for the question and the photos.  There’s lots of different ways to approach your issue.  It depends on budget, expectations, and what you are willing to go through.  A tummy tuck is your best option, but most expensive, with the most downtime.  CoolSculpting can get rid of the fat that you have, but you will need to treat the area 2-3 times, so cost adds up, and you will have loose skin after.  Lipo will do the same.See a surgeon to get all the options, costs, and make sure …
Can CoolSculpting improve the appearance of scoliosis?
CS with Scoliosis

Hi.  Thanks for the question, and the photo.  Based on the photo, it seems that you would be a good candidate for CoolSculpting.  An in-person evaluation would be needed to develop a treatment plan for you.  What I see appears to be pinchable fat.  CoolSculpting is designed to treat pinchable fat.If you can pinch it, we can sculpt it.Best of luck.Michael kerin MDKerin MedSpaTuckahoe, NY
Non surgical options for belly pooch?
Treatment for Belly Pooch
Feb 1, 2020
Hi.  Thanks for the question and the photos.  An in-person exam is the best way to determine the best treatment for you.  But based on the pictures, you should get a nice reduction in fat with CoolSculpting.  Keep in mind that you will need to treat each area at least two times, spaced at least 1 month apart, for optimal results.  Don’t do the treatment if you will only do it once, it won’t do what you need and you will waste your money.  But with two treatments you will get a very nice f…
Can you have Dual CoolSculpting on the lower abdomen?
Dual Sculpting Lower Abdomen
Jan 7, 2020
Hi.  Thanks for the question.  No, I would not Dual Sculpt the lower abdomen.  The reason for this, is because the CS applicator uses vacuum which will pull the skin and fat from all directions.  If you have an adjacent applicator placed, in a way the two applicators will be pulling against each other.  The better way to treat the area, is to do two separate treatments, one on the left, one on the right, with small overlap in the center.  The only thing this will cost you is an extra 35 mi…
