How Long You See Coolsculpting Results?

Coolsculpting results can generally be seen after three weeks (some patients as soon as 1 week).

Some patients notice improvement in the areas treated by CoolSculpting within two to three weeks. The entire process of improvement may take two to four months.

CoolSculpting can provide improvement in a few weeks or a few months
Many patients only show improvement after several months. Studies showed that there was about 20% reduction at four monnths but the improvement continued thereafter for a couple of months on ultrasound analysis. The percent improvement was not significantly greater though, so we refer to the four month point as a practical matter.

Although some patients see results after 3-4 weeks, most start seeing the results at 2 months after the treatment and even sometimes takes up to 4-5 months after the treatment. Coolsculpting is a slow process that takes 2-4 months to get results. Most patients will start to see results by 2 months, but you won’t know the full result for 4 months.

How Long Does it Take to See Results with CoolSculpting

Noticing results gradually after Zeltiq
Don’t worry if you haven’t noticed results yet. Some people do notice results quickly (within the first few weeks) but others can take a number of months (2-4, but some even 4-6).
Quick results are not indicative of better results overall, they’re just quicker. You are still very much in the running for a good result from your treatment, but do keep in mind that some patients do require 2-3 treatments in an area for optimal results.

Coolsculpting typically takes two months or more to see results
Zeltiq will tell you that it takes four months to see the full effect from the treatment but most of my patients see benefit in just two months. For some reason my male patients see great results even faster.
Within two to four months you will have a 30to 25 percent reduction in the fat in the area treated.

How long before Zeltiq results are noticable?
Results with Zeltiq (CoolScultping) are generally not seen immediately. Since the body naturally expels the fat cells (damaged by the cold during the Zeltiq treatment), results emerge slowly, over the next 4 months. You should begin to noticeably see results about 3-4 weeks after your CoolSculpting procedure.
Then, over the next 12 weeks, you should slowly notice a 20-25% reduction in fatty tissue in your treatment area. I generally recommend that my patients wait 2-3 months, after their initial CoolSculpting treatment, before deciding to do a second procedure.
While the second Zeltiq treatment can result in another 20-25% reduction of fatty tissue, and sculpt the area even farther, a follow-up procedure is not always necessary. (Narin (Joe) Apisarnthanarax, MD, Houston Dermatologist)

Many patients don’t start to notice improvement to the treatment areas until 2-3 months after therapy. While it is not unusual to start seeing improvement as soon as 3 weeks, experience has shown that the end result of CoolSculpting takes about 3-4 months.

On average you can see them at 2 months. If it is for the lateral thighs after a Cool Smooth treatment it may take 4 months.
