Thanks for your question. As long as the filler and beauty mark tattoo and filler are not in same place, it shouldn't be a problem. If you were to do lip liner tattoos, I would caution you to separate a filler treatment appointment at least a month before or after the tattoo appointment.

It certainly sounds like a trip to see your surgeon is appropriate. While each patient perceives pain differently, the fact that you don't yet feel well enough to go back to work is a red flag. Please give your doctor's office a call as soon as you can to get to the bottom of what's causing your symptoms. This is absolutely normal, and you're right to suspect that gravity is responsible for the descent. Swelling after liposuction can migrated around depending on how you sleep and if you’ve been upright or not. You should see this effect reduce significantly over the next few weeks. Unless you notice the swelling getting worse, it's OK to wait until your next follow-up appointment to bring this up. Good luck with your recovery!

I'm sorry to read that you're still experiencing discomfort after your Smartlipo procedure. Although, it is not unheard of to still have some pain at 9 days. Ice or a cold compress is unlikely to do much for your swelling, but it may relieve some tenderness. Apply the cold compress for about 20 minutes at a time; a few times daily should be helpful. Massage is a common recommendation following liposuction, but it's generally not advisable to continue doing anything that causes you that much pain.
