Hi. I agree with the other recommendations. Arnica Montana is a natural supplement that helps flush out bruising and swelling. It is ideal to begin taking immediately after an injectable treatment. We also recommend using the BBL (Broad Band Light) therapy to help break up the bruise. If the bruise still persists for your vacation, there are some great concealers specifically made to cover up bruising. Good luck and enjoy your vacation.

I do not recommend putting anything inside of the nostrils until the tape is removed. I do let patients clean the outside of the nostrils with saline. Extra care must be taken if your nostrils were narrowed. I would always get specific information from your surgeon.

Exercise after this procedure is to prevent a significant nose bleed. Waiting about 2 weeks after surgery would include all activities which would significantly increase the heartrate and blood pressure. One does continue to see improved results after these procedures for weeks to months.

It is very normal to have post op nasal tip swelling after a rhinoplasty even if no tip work was performed. Due to gravity the tip will swell after surgery. Even if no tip changes were performed the tissue will swell due to the surgery around this area. The tip swelling should continue to to down over time.
