PDO thread lift ripple. Will this go away?
It should resolve on it’s own
May 4, 2018
In the first couple of days, or even weeks, after PDO thread placement, visible rippling can occur but in my experience, it typically resolves on it’s own. You can try massaging the area in a backwards (toward the ears) motion to see if you can get the thread to ‘release’ or simply leave it alone. If it doesn’t resolve after 2 weeks, your doctor may want to intervene to make the correction. As far as Titan is concerned, I would wait at least 2 weeks post-thread placement before having a…

Hyperpigmentation
May 4, 2018
It appears that you developed post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (or PIH) as a result of your CO2 laser treatment. Unfortunately, this can happen after aggressive laser treatments and more commonly occurs in darker or olive-toned skin types. Luckily, it is almost always temporary and will fade with time. Your doctor may opt to treat you with other, lighter, laser treatments such as the Clear & Brilliant Permea device or chemical peels, in effort to speed up clearance. You may also…

Take a multifaceted approach
May 4, 2018
Unfortunately, acne scars, such as yours, are notoriously difficult to treat and often require multiple treatments to achieve adequate outcomes. In general, I recommend fractional CO2 laser or RF Microneedling treatments with topical PRP and Sculptra followed by Bellafill into the distensible scars. Maintenance with chemical peels can provide additional benefit for both texture and pigmentation.
You appear to have an ‘olive’ skin tone (as seen in your photo, but the lighting…
Clear & Brilliant Orginal Vs Permea, any suggestions?
Either wavelength can improve pore size
Jul 9, 2017
The Clear + Brilliant Original (1440 nm wavelength) is intended to stimulate collagen, thus reducing pore size and improving fine lines/texture. That said, in my practice, we also find that the Permea hand piece (1927 nm wavelength), which is intended to treat pigmentation, such as melasma/sun spots, also improves texture and pores. Therefore, if you have enlarged pores as well as desire correction of skin pigmentation, I would suggest using the Permea. Good luck!

Best for contouring arms
May 28, 2017
SmartLipo and/or Vaser Lipo may be the best option to contour your arms. That said, I have found Coolsculpting to be effective in this area as well, however, I find that the results are not as dramatic as what we typically achieve with the SmartLipo or Vaser procedures. Good luck!
Clear and Brilliant and IPL together?
Combination therapy is safe and effective
May 3, 2017
For many patients, depending upon Fitz skin type, the combination of IPL and Clear + Brilliant can be safely performed. Be sure to have these treatments performed by a provider who is experienced in the use of combination therapies with these two devices. I would recommend having your IPL done before the C+B treatment for best results. This is a safe and effective method to treat dyschromia as well as stimulate collagen.
Is it safe to have a hydra facial (that includes a peel), on the same day that I have micro-needling?
Combination therapy can boost results
May 3, 2017
Yes, you can safely combine the Hydrafacial MD with microneedling the same day. We would recommend treating with the Hydrafacial MD first, prior to microneedling, as a skin ‘prep’ so-to-speak. This will enhance the overall results. We find that this combination is a great way to clarify and brighten the skin while stimulating collagen for a longer lasting benefit.
