This is a great question. In my experience you will get more volume and better results when you do three procedures, 2 months apart with 15 vials than doing one treatment with 45 vials. Although this has not been studied I believe there is a limit as to how much collagen any particular area can produce in a given time. Once you reach that limit extra vials are being wasted.

At my practice we reconstitute the Sculptra vials 5-7 days prior to use and it has worked well for us. In my 15 + years of experience with sculptra, I have found that the right formula and mixing time prevents nodes and creates a beautifully blended result.

You are a great candidate. Any patient that can use general structural volume is a good candidate for Sculptra. We use Sculptra as our go-to treatment for global volume loss in the face and we see superior results compared to dermal fillers.

In my experience it is very common to have a larger volume deficit on one side of the face, compared to the other. This can occur for various reasons. Ideally we would want to identify the underlying issue and determine if it is one we can correct- however for most such cases Sculptra is a good fit for volume restoration and achieving symmetry.

I think the important thing here is not the Sculptra (or any product for that matter), it is the experience, expertise and artistic eye of the injector. Pick a good injector and be confident in their abilities.
