It is difficult to be sure exactly what is causing the redness around your nose as the photo quality is not great.
I treat a lot of red faces in my clinic. Common causes, apart from Rosacea, include seborrhoeic dermatitis and peri-oral/peri-nasal dermatitis.
I would suggest seeing your GP to get an opinion on the diagnosis as it may be that a topical cream, an anti-fungal shampoo or a short course of antibiotics may help.

Thanks for your question.
I have been using IPL for 10 years now. It is a wonderful treatment for benign, pigmented lesions on paler, Fitzpatrick skin types 1-3. I would never recommend IPL for Indian skin. The risk of skin injury and subsequent pigmentation issues is just too high.
You appear to have some whiteheads as well as diffuse, patchy pigmentation. I often prescribe topical retinoids in the this scenario. I would suggest seeing your GP in the first instance. If you do decide…

I prescribe adapalene frequently for my patients. It is a prescription retinoid, licensed to treat acne vulgaris. Retinoids in general are known for their skin improving properties.
Most patients develop a transient, contact, irritant dermatitis, when they commence any retinoid. This usually settles with time. I recommend starting even less than alternative nights, to begin with and gradually build up usage, as tolerated. Some patients with sensitive skin simply don’t tolerate r…

I love combining facial volume restoration and energy based devices.
You have not said why you would like your nasolabial filler dissolved but I am presuming that the area has been over filled? This leads to a blunting of the nasolabial angle and a simian appearance. If this is the case, then I would suggest dissolving the filler first.
Lasers and energy based devices are excellent at improving skin quality and can tighten around the existing…

I often prescribe azelaic acid as it tends to work well for post inflammatory hyperpigmentation and melasma, in addition to its positive effects for acne vulgaris. I don’t see a major effect on fine l…

Thank you for your post. It is pretty much impossible to give you an answer to your question, when based on a single 2 dimensional photo. No one *needs* to have treatment.
In my practice, I routinely use 3D photography (the Canfield Vectra H2) in my initial consultation as well as detailed complexion analysis, using the VISIA system. Based on this, we come up with a detailed plan of options.
My advice is to seek out an experienced doctor, local to where you…
