Your surgeon should be able to guide you better on this as he knows exactly how much work will be involved which will determine the amount of surgical trauma to your body and in turn your recovery. However, in my experience 6 months is plenty of time for everything to settle down to see the results and you should be able to enjoy your holidays.

Vaserlipo or any other type of liposuction can be carried out in the calves area to reduce the bulk but one has to first establish suitability in terms of actual amount of excessive fat that can be removed. A lot of the time is is simply musculo-skeletal bulk for which vaserlipo will not work. It is also a very difficult area to treat without causing visible lumps so make sure you go to a surgeon who is well experienced in this area.

In my experience & opinion, main role of garments is effective drainage of the treated area to expedite the recovery & reduce bruising.I don't think it should affect the final results although it may take slightly longer to see the end result in the absence of correct garments.

Smartlipo is one of the energy assisted liposuction procedure performed mainly under local anaesthesia. Most modern day liposuction procedures are meant to get rid of stubborn localised pockets of fat and are by no means a weight loss procedure I am afraid.Theoretically, one can say that smartlipo can still be performed on full body in multiple stages but it will probably be against the manufacturers guidance and risks will far outweigh the benefits to be achieved.

Hi,
From your description it seems quite likely that due to the change in your sleeping position some of the trapped residual fluid moved and came out due to pressure over it. If you are still taking antibiotics and generally feel well in yourself then that is a good sign but if you are still worried and would like more reassurance then you should get in touch with your surgeon's office .
