Coolsculpting is absolutely safe for you to do on your belly (or other body parts) if you have metal screws or metal implants in your abdomen or anywhere else. Currently, there are no clinical studies regarding treating patients with Lyme Disease, however, there have been patients who have been treated and did well with the treatment. We do know that conditions like hypothyroidism can delay the treatment outcome by slowing the cryolipolysis process. We tend to ask our patients to not take anything that will reduce the natural inflammation process after having CoolSculpting done for 4-5 days. Thank you for your great question! It is not advised to place a CoolSculpting applicator over the Nexplanon birth control implanted device. You could CoolSculpt other areas of your body, but not over the implant. You would have to remove the implant from you arm prior to CoolSulpting your arms. I do hope this information is helpful.

I would also make sure to check in with your doctor to confirm that it would be advisable to discontinue it before you do.
