It’s too early to see your final result. Be asssured that 2 weeks is the most commonly recommended time period to stay off the newly grafted areas. The sites of liposuction: your waist, abdomen and back are swollen at this time, and are most likely going to contract or shrink significantly over the next 2 months. Your findings appear to be just an area of skin irritation, most likely from your garment or lotion. I suspect it will clear up in a week or so. Yes, you’re an excellent candidate for liposuction of your back, flanks and upper thighs. I would even consider liposuction of your upper and lower abdomen as this would increase your chances of obtaining the definition and shape you want. It’s not unusual to have an area or two of fullness or tenderness 6 weeks after a BBL. It is always smart to see your PS in follow up to confirm the exact nature of this lump. You are a good candidate for liposuction of your entire back and arms. Removing fat from your back will help tighten your waist and soften the rolls on your back. You may want to consider additional liposuction of your abdomen, this will help provide better overall shape and additional fat for grafting. It’s unusual to have fluid present 8-12 months after surgery. It would be best to seen by an experienced Board Certified plastic surgeon, who could examine you, and aspirate the fluid in an office setting. You most likely have a persistent seroma, that should resolve with several aspirations. Best of luck.

Thank you for your question. Breasts don’t always heal at the same rate, and often one side is more bruised than the other. It is difficult to advise you further without photos or an examination. It is always best to follow up with your plastic surgeon. I recommend seeing him sooner than later.

Many tummy tuck patients have irregularities along their scars. Often, these smooth out and don’t require any additional care. Some patients benefit from a minor scar revision under local anesthesia, but I routinely wait 8-10 months after surgery before considering this.
