Usuallly fat injections are in the trochanter area (side) and on the posterior part of the buttock. One sits on the ischial area (inferior) so if no fat was put there it is possible to sit the next day. Reclining and lying on the buttock after 2 or 3 days. But each doctor has a different approach.

In the past I would contraindicate liposuction to reduce weight and use it only to remove localized fat resistant to diet and exercise, Then I started using it in overweight patients as a kickstart to diet and exercise.
