It has been thrown around that lowering body fat with Coolsculpting can lower your overall Cholesterol but no studies has been proven this. Of course the benefits from looking and feeling good are priceless.

Really good question! If you’re overall content with your weight and/or other body areas but want one of them reduced due to more volume there than you prefer then yes, Coolsculpting is an excellent option. Different applicators can target different shaped areas of volume. You can be very lean overall but still have a pocket of fat that you want gone. My end answer to people interested in Coolsculpting is to come in for a consultation to make sure you’re a good candidate.

A question worth asking! There is a range of prices when it comes to Coolsculpting. Even other countries like Canada seem to be pricier than the United States, however your choice to travel for the procedure is up to you. A practice can set the prices they want, ultimately if you are shopping around go with the practice you feel you’re most comfortable with. They may not be the lesser priced but experience and confidence has a value all its own.

Great question! Reducing the number of fat cells overall typically means that if you were to gain weight you would have less volume gain in the areas that have had Coolsculpting. As someone who has done Coolsculpting on their lower abdomen and gained 8 lbs over the holidays, I did not notice volume gain in my lower abdomen but did find it on my flanks. Ultimately it is best to maintain a healthy weight to support your great Coolsculpting results.

Good question to ask. The down time from Coolsculpting can be a slight numbness and soft tissue inflammation to the area(s) to tenderness when the area(s) are manipulated to delayed onset pain. The numbness does not affect day to day activities and typically the tenderness doesn’t either. The delayed onset pain does not happen often but it can be managed by pain medication if needed. The medication is typically prescribed by the doctor on staff.

Very good question. Coolsculpting is a permanent destruction of the treated fat cells. If you were to gain weight post Coolsculpting it would gain on the areas not treated much more so than the areas treated with Coolsculpting. We always recommend keeping a healthy diet and exercise regimen even after Coolsculpting to help maintain your results.

Thank you for the question. Based on the pictures alone it looks like the larger applicator should work. If it were needed to treat the same area again we may have to use two smaller applicators due to volume reduction from the first procedure.
