We have treated patients inner thighs with cool sculpting and have had mixed reviews. What we find is the inner thighs tend to carry a more resistant fat. This means it typically requires more then one treatment to get desired result. When you come in for the actual procedure we will mark the grid out. We use three different color markers so that we can differentiate what grades of cellulite there are. Juvaderm / fillers in general will take a little while to calm down. A couple of things that will help are:

1) For the bruising using Arnica cream or gel a couple times a day.

2) Avoid salty foods and getting your heart rate up too much, this will cause more swelling.

3) Know that in the morning after you wake up and have been laying flat you will be more swollen. Apply an ice pack to help the swelling go down more quickly.

4) Drink lots of water…

One of the perks of Coolsculpting is because it takes 90 days to get full results from the treatment if gives the skin time to “snap” back. Having said that this is obviously weight and age variant. If you do not have much laxity left in your skin your problem could seem worse as it will reduce the fat but not tighten the skin. If you are wanting skin tightening there are much better options out there for you then Coolsculpting.

Typically it is best to not treat over the area where you have the hernia issue. The intense suction and pulling that area up into the device can cause more issues then correction. You could still treat your sides, bra fat or inner thighs though. Coolsculpting really does not have many contraindications but unfortunately that is one of them.

It looks like you would be a great candidate for Coolsculpting on your inner thighs. I will warn you that is an area it usually takes two treatment to get good results. The “banana roll” as many call it is a tricky area. We are very careful because if you get into the upper area of it too much , it is likely to leave a crease or “divet” in that area. The butt area is very hard to fix if you get any of it in the applicator. Let us know if you have any more questions.
