What should I do after failure of miraDry for armpit sweating?

There are some patients that require a 3rd treatment even after being treated on level 5 twice before. In my experience, I have seen patients that have failed treatment due to the fact that the area treated was not sufficiently wide enough or did not cover the entire axilla. Upon using a gride that actually covers the enitre axillary region that is sweating, the procedure is subsequently successful.
Perhaps try a different Miradry center.
I had miraDry performed 6 days ago. Is it OK to go under plastic surgery in a few days?

You may certainly have a surgical procedure soon after the Miradry procedure. You do need to let the surgeon know about the Miradry procedure. It is also important to make sure that there is no inflammation in the axillas especially if any sort of implant is going to be placed.

Thank you for your question. I do believe that you are correct in your inquiry regarding the effectiveness of treating the entire area rather than a small localized area. Even if you are not sweating so much I would have recommended treating the entire axilla. In those cases it only takes one treatment instead of the 2 treatments that are required for actual hyperhidrosis. At this point you may need the second treatment to get the desired effect.

Thank you for the question. Ultraslim uses LED light to reduce fat. It will reduce the circumferance of the arms and tighten the loose skin. It is a great alternative to surgery. There is no down time or pain.
