Uneven eyes because of the different amount of skin on my upper eyelids and don‘t know what procedure
Your eyelids
Jan 27, 2021
Hello and thank you very much for your questions. It's hard to determine just from your picture alone but you may have ptosis (drooping) of one of your eyelid. This can sometimes happen. If this is the case then you can get this fixed. I would recommend a formal consultation with a plastic or an occuloplastic surgeon. Thank you.
Would a lower eye blepharoplasty be the best option?
Your options for lower eyelids
Jan 27, 2021
Hello and thank you very much for your question. Yes, I believe that lower blepharoplasty could be an option for you. I would approach your lower eyelids through an incision on the inner side of your lower eyelid and remove and reposition the extra fat. However, I would recommend a formal consultation with a plastic or occuloplastic surgeon as we may need to first determine whether there is a reason why you have puffiness under your eyes. Thank you.
Why is my lower eyelid always swollen and would filler or a procedure fix this?
Your eyelid options
Jan 27, 2021
Hello and thank you for your question. I think you are right in that there could be something causing the asymmetry. It could be a tear duct issue, allergy issue or an existing asymmetry of your eyelids, amongst many other possibilities. As such, I would recommend a formal consultation with a plastic or occuloplastic surgeon. I would not inject filler without determining the cause of the asymmetry as this may worsen the asymmetry. Thank you.
Is there something wrong with my eyes and can I do anything to fix it?
Your eyelid options
Jan 27, 2021
Hello and thank you very much for your question. It's tough to tell just from the pictures but I think you would benefit from a formal consultation with a plastic or occuloplastic surgeon. It's possible that this is how your eyes are anatomically in which case there aren't many options. Some people have bulging eyes and this may be the case here. However, you may also have some excess fat on your upper eyelids in which case surgery is an option. Thank you.
I'm 18 and I feel insecure about my eyelids. Do you recommend a blepharoplasty or a brow lift? (photo
Your eyelid options
Jan 27, 2021
Hello and thank you very much for your question. Eyelid surgery is definitely an option for you as you have hooding (sagging of the upper eyelid skin) especially on the sides of your upper eyelids. Eyelid surgery is a great option for this type of issue but we have to also consider where your brows are and whether you have any existing ptosis (droopy eyelids). Eyelid surgery can be done at almost any age and it just depends on whether you want to go through with the surgery. With that said,...
Am I able to get deep-set eyes and creases with eyelid surgery?
Your options for eyelid enhancement
Jan 27, 2021
Hello and thank you very much for your question. It's very difficult to give a definitive treatment plan just by looking at pictures but what I see is heavy upper eyelids and perhaps droopy eyebrows. As such, you may need a browlift in combination with upper eyelid surgery where skin and fat needs to be removed. I recommend a formal consultation with a board certified plastic or occuloplastic surgeon to get a definitive plan. Thank you.
Can I have an eyebrow lift or blepharoplasty with ptosis?
Your options for eyelid enhancement
Jan 27, 2021
Hello and thank you very much for your question. You do have ptosis on one of your eyes so any treatment would require addressing this. Ptosis repair should correct the asymmetry and you can, at the same time or in a staged manner, get a blepharoplasty to address any skin laxity or hooding. Your brows appear to be in good position but this can be due to your existing ptosis. Often, correction of ptosis can drop your brows. As such, I recommend a formal consultation with a board certified...
Is eyelid surgery an option?
Your options for eyelid enhancement
Jan 27, 2021
Hello and thank you very much for your question. You are young and you don't have very much skin laxity. In such cases, adding volume would be the best option. Fillers enhance volume but perhaps not enough was injected. I like fat grafting for these types of cases. Your cheek and lower eyelid areas appear to be hollow. As such, adding volume would be the best approach. If you want some skin tightening, then I think you are a very good candidate for AccuTite, a non-surgical skin tightening...
Am I a good candidate for upper blepharoplasty?
Your options for eyelid enhancement
Jan 27, 2021
Hello and thank you for your question. It's tough to give you an exact answer just by looking at photos but it appears as though you may have ptosis (droopy eyelids). You may need this to be addressed. The other thing I notice is that you have sunken, hollowed appearance of the upper eyelids. In these situations, fat grafting (without any skin removal) can improve the appearance of your eyes. I don't think removing the skin alone is going to correct the issues. I would recommend a formal...
Which breast lift is best for me? And do I need implants?
Your options for breast enhancement
Jan 20, 2021
Hello there and thank you very much your question on RealSelf. It's hard to get exact assessment just off of pictures but it appears that you have saggy, deflated breasts with enlarged areola. And it is my understanding that you want more fullness. In such a case, a combination of breast augmentation with implant and a breast left would be the best option. You need the breast lift to bring nipples back to where they need to be as well as restore volume to central mount of the breast and...
I recently had RNY, I want to get a breast lift. Should I wait till I reach my goal weight?
Breast lift after weight loss
Jan 20, 2021
Congratulations on your weight loss and being that close to achieving your ideal weight! According to our literature, it is recommended that you be at a stable weight for 6 months prior to undergoing any body contouring procedures. Specifically for the breasts, they will sag more as you lose more weight. As such, if you continue to lose weight after the surgery it is possible that the breasts will sag. Thank you.
How long after surgery can you fly?
Flying back after surgery
Jan 20, 2021
You can probably fly safely back the next day. However, it may be helpful to stay few more days after surgery in case there were some issues after the surgery that the surgeon can address. It also depends on whether you have stitches that need to be taken out and whether you have drains. If so, your surgeon will likely want you to stay until those things are out. Thank you.
Breast tite or breast lift?
BreastTite vs surgical breast enhancement
Jan 20, 2021
Hello and thank you for your question on RealSelf.com. I don't think BreastTite (BodyTite) will give you the results that you want given the existing asymmetry. The nipple positions are different on the 2 breasts and only surgery can fix that. Lipo on the bigger side will make that breast sag more. As such, I would recommend breast lift where by one breast is lifted more than the other but will have the same nipple position at the end. Thank you.
Should I get breast implants or a breast lift?
Your options for breast enhancement
Jan 20, 2021
Thank you very much for your question on RealSelf.com. The choice between augmentation vs lift is depending on a number of factors, which include:
1) size of your breast - do you want them to be bigger? If so, then you need breast augmentation.
2) location of your nipple-areola complex (NAC) - is your breast saggy? If so, you need a breast lift
It's hard to get an accurate assessment with just pictures alone but I would recommend breast augmentation for you and perhaps a peri-areolar (donut)...
What would you recommend to correct my issue?
Your options
Jan 20, 2021
Hello there and thank you very much for your question on RealSelf.com. You are absolutely right in that the breast tissue appears to have fallen off the implant. This can happen over time. What I can't tell is whether you have some capsular contracture or not (scarring around the implant). There seems to be some asymmetry of the breasts and I can't tell just from the picture whether that is due to implant malpositioning or from asymmetry fall of breast tissue or from capsular contracture....
