Restylane Defyne and Refyne are HA fillers designed to promote a natural look with dynamic facial expressions. I got a chance to use Defyne, Refyne in combination with Restylane Lyft today. Lyft is used to replace more facial volume.
Defyne was injected to marionette lines. I think Defyne yields more volume and is able to "lift" this area to create a smooth appearance.
Refyne wows even more. It was great for the upper lip wrinkles, fine lines on the side...

Thank you for your photos. Juvederm Voluma XC will be the only filler I would use in your case. I would inject the voluma via a cannula. This will not damage any nerves, minimal bruising if at all. Other fillers will not last and if it is injected superficial, you will look bumpy on your cheeks.

I have both treatments available in my office. I recommend Coolsculpting coolmini for a moderate to large double chin; and Kybella for a smaller amount of under chin fat. There are patients I would recommend to start with Coolsculpting coolmini then use Kybella to get the final defined jawline. The treatments are not exclusive of each other. When combined, it could eliminate a double chin without any surgical procedure.

Kybella is FDA indicated injectable (first one) to get rid of a double chin. The swelling and bruising associated with Kybella are usually most prominent for 2 to 3 days after the injection. Usually it would be great to get Kybella treatment on a Thursday evening, take the Friday off, and go back to work on Monday. Swelling is usually much less on the second Kybella treatment session.

Juvederm Voluma XC has become my favorite fillers for teartrough, cheeks, chin, nose and temporal areas. It is highly cross-linked and will last up to 2 years. It costs $300 to $400 more than the Juvederm Ultra XC. But it does so much more for lifting and restoration of volume. The average costs of Voluma is $900 to $1200 per syringe.
