In my experience with Infini in treating acne scarring in patients of darker skin color, hyperpigmentation is very uncommon, whereas with CO2 resurfacing in patients of darker skin color hyperpigmentation is extremely common.  As a general comment the improvement in acne scarring has been much greater in my Infini treated patients, with much greater patient satisfaction than was seen fractionated C02 laser resurfacing.
