Functional Medicine Approach to Acne
Apr 10, 2019
I believe in trying to go “upstream” to figure out why your skin is reacting by breaking out. I am a functional medicine physician and i work with my clients to address underlying causes. There is a great blog on this by one of the leading Functional Medicine physicians, Dr Mark Hyman – check out his website for his acne treatment ideas.
CoolSculpting – Fat Cells – Pollutants?

Is there any embolism risk on CoolSculpting?
There should be no risk of Embolism after CoolSculpting
Mar 21, 2017
Embolisms are usually caused by clots that form after a blood vessel is injured and blood, thickened by circumstances, is allowed to sit and coagulate. With CoolSculpting, there should be no blood vessel injury as the cold only targets the fat cells and we don’t treat over major blood vessels. Because CoolSculpting is non-invasive and non-toxic, we encourage our patients to stay well hydrated and continue with their usual activity!
