Hyaluronidase is an enzyme that is sometimes used to dissolve hyaluronic acid fillers, such as Juvederm and Restylane. Of all of the available options, I feel Hylenex is the safest option, since there is no risk of an allergic reaction with this particular product. The good news is that Hylenex does not appear to affect the body's natural hyaluronic acid, instead being selective only for the filler.

Although there is no way to tell for certain without an examination, it sounds like you have a bruise. Bruising in the cheeks is often hidden due to its deep location. Bruising in the cheeks often leads to swelling and soreness, and can lead to some irregularity and asymmetry. Typically, this improves significantly over two weeks. Typically the swelling and bruising after lip filler treatment has resolved after five weeks. It is likely that there was some displacement of the filler. In my experience, this can usually be addressed successfully with massage. Hyaluronidase is sometimes required, however. My recommendation would be to return to your injector and have them take a look.

It is always great to hear when a patient is happy with their treatment. Although you are very happy with the outcome after one syringe, it is likely that you would benefit from an additional syringe. However, it is impossible to know for certain without a face-to-face consultation.

The amount of kybella that is needed for each person is dependent on the size of the treatment area and the amount of fat in that area. I usually recommend treating with two vials at each treatment, but patients with a small area of fat may begin treatment with one vial at a time. The price per vial can range from $500-$750, and most patients require at least two treatment sessions.

Ultherapy is a skin tightening procedure that works on the muscle and the dermal skin layer. This procedure does NOT target the subcutaneous tissue, which means it will NOT reduce facial fat or “melt” the face. I have never experienced any adverse effects like this and I have performed hundreds of Ultherapy treatments.

Without a formal consultation and examination, it would be impossible to tell you exactly what would make your face more symmetrical. Asymmetry can be due to variations in facial anatomy (bone and/or soft tissue), facial aging, and muscle movement. There are a number of different fillers that I use every day to address asymmetry. My recommendation would be to find someone who specializes in injectable treatments. Hope this helps.

It is fairly common for it to take 2 weeks for all of the swelling to even out. Sometimes this swelling, and even areas of minor bruising, can present as bumps or unevenness. For this reason, I usually tell patients to wait 2 weeks for a final determination. That said, if you have concerns, you should contact your injector so that they can appropriately address those concerns. Hope this helps.

This is a great question. How many treatments did the specialist recommend? While patients start to notice a reduction of fat about one month after the first treatment, most patients will require multiple treatments, which are spaced 6-8 weeks a part. Therefore, it may take several months to notice full results. Since you still have 6 months before your wedding, you should be able to see great improvement by then. From your photos, it appears that you are a candidate for the Kybella procedure. Since you have only a small amount of submental fullness, you could likely be treated in one or two sessions. To optimize your result, I would also recommend that you consider chin enhancement with filler as well. The combination of Kybella with chin filler can great improve the profile and jawline. Kybella is an excellent non-surgical treatment for a double chin. It targets submental fat below the chin to improve the contour of the neck and jawline, removing the fat cells permanently. We perform this treatment several times per day in our office, and most of our patients have been very pleased with the results. We space treatments approximately 6 weeks apart, with most patients needing around 2 to 5 sessions. 
Would a more defined jawline & chin be achievable for me with Kybella?

From the photos you provided, it appears that you would be a good candidate for the Kybella fat reduction procedure. For the best improvement in jawline contour, this could be done along with filler to the chin and jawline. Most patients require at least two treatments of Kybella, but many patients notice improvement even after the first treatment. You seem to be experiencing an extreme amount of swelling, especially considering your treatment was six days ago. However, from your photo it is hard to determine if this is merely swelling or if too much product was placed in the upper lip. I would seek a consult with a highly experienced and competent lip injector. Hyaluronic acid fillers are a great solution to address asymmetry in or around the lips. I find that a substantial proportion of my patients have some degree of lip asymmetry, even if very mild. It is up to the injector to recognize this. In your case, hyaluronic acid filler may be a good option for you. However, I would have to examine you in person to discuss this in more detail.
