I understand your concern, and would be somewhat hesitant as well. Excellent question! I would definitely be concerned in your situation as well.  Usually an implant will drop into better position than that by 13 weeks.  We usually would like to see it be in the proper location by 3 months. That is concerning to have something pop up like that after 3 months. However, I think you have heard the same thing from just about everyone.  Your nipple necrosis fears can be put behind you. This appears to be an irritation under the skin, likely due to an absorbable suture that is working its way to the surface before it is actually absorbed. That is a good question and I would be concerned as well.  I would definitely return to see your plastic surgeon to have that area evaluated.  IMO, this is likely just a small pocket of fluid that has worked its way to the surface and is likely not a big concern. However, without better photos and a real exam nobody can tell you for sure if this is a legitimate issue or not. I am definitely more concerned by your symptoms than I am about the bruise itself.
