Hi there. I am aware of no surgical intervention to improve the vermilion border. I think cutting along it to better define it would be much too risky. I would look into either low volume filler in the white roll to help improve the vermilion border or potentially having a medical or aesthetic tattoo artist have a look and see if they can offer any improvement. Hello. It looks like your breast reduction is still healing. There is a great deal of settling out that occurs following vertical breast reduction. For this reason, you really can't appreciate the final result until several months have elapsed following the operation. I would say the soonest it would be safe to perform fat grafting (if the dent persists) would be three months. The cautious approach would be to wait 4-6 months. I hope this helps.

From the situation that you are describing (large implants with already thin mastectomy flaps), I would highly recommend using an ADM. I have seen reconstructions attempted in this scenario without ADM in the past. While it can be difficult to see the whole story from only one picture at one angle, your surgeon's plan seems to be a sound one. There is obvious breast asymmetry. The left side appears much larger. It also seems from the picture that the right half of you is larger than the left overall (chest width.)
