It depends on the hand piece that was put on you. The new machine’s (Cool Advantage) small hand piece is usually 35 minutes and the large hand piece is 45 minutes. I wouldn’t say that the longer the treatment, the more effective.

I would recommend you to find an office that offers Cool Advantage, the most updated Coolsculpting machine. This newer machine provides better comfort and can be completed in 35 minutes. If symptoms persist, see the doctor that provided your treatment.

Thank you for your question! A fresh healing tattoo is still an open wound and very sensitive. I would recommend waiting at least 2 months until the tattoo is completely healed to have a CoolSculpting treatment done.
