Long-term Effects of Coolsculpting?
CoolSculpting is an ideal procedure for individuals with small amounts of excess fat on the love handles or belly
Apr 26, 2017
CoolSculpting is an ideal procedure for individuals with small amounts of excess fat on the love handles or the belly. It is not a great treatment for women or men who are significantly overweight and who have very large love handles or a big full belly. Individuals who are relatively trim who have localized area of fat achieve the best results. We almost never see rippling or a line of demarcation between the treated and untreated areas. Long term significant side effects are rare. It...
Zeltiq CoolSculpting - Pain, Bruising, Risks?
CoolSculpting is a very well-tolerated procedure with few side effects
Apr 26, 2017
CoolSculpting is a very well-tolerated procedure. There is a tiny bit of discomfort but most individuals do not describe it as painful. With the new CoolAdvantage applicators it's even less uncomfortable than the it was with the original standard handpieces. A bit of numbness and tingling for 4 weeks after the procedure is common. Permanent nerve damage has not been reported. Bruising with the original handpieces was uncommon. With the new CoolAdvantage applicators the risk of bruising is...

Nothing special to do after your Cool Sculpting procedure
Jan 5, 2017
There's nothing special that need to be done after your Cool Sculpting procedure. A little bit of puffiness or soreness after the treatment this is completely normal. The achiness will go away over 1 to 4 weeks. This is probably related to bit of inflammation in the fat which is then expected from the treatment.
New coolsculpting advance vs older applicator?
The new CoolAdvantage handpieces have revolutionized Cool Sculpting
Jan 5, 2017
The new CoolAdvantage handpieces have revolutionized Cool Sculpting. Instead of it taking an hour to perform each treatment, the new applicators are applied for only 35 minutes. The CoolAdvantage handpieces are slightly bigger than the original handpieces and they produce even better results and with even less discomfort. Cool Sculpting was never very painful but with the new CoolAdvantage applicators it is even better tolerated.
Defining my jawline - will coolsculpting do it?
Defining your jawline with Cool Sculpting
Jan 5, 2017
With the recent development of the cool mini applicator, Cool Sculpting is now effective and treating submental fat, sometimes known as a double chin. It is quite effective at reducing the fat and tightening the skin under the chin and jawline that it may help better define your neck. It would be best for you to have your neck and jawline assessed by a Cool Sculpting expert to determine if you are a good candidate for the procedure.
Can you get CoolSculpting after liposuction?
Cool Sculpting after liposuction
Jan 5, 2017
Cool Sculpting can be effective after liposuction but it all depends on individual. Cool Sculpting is highly effective for localized areas of excessive fat. There has to be a certain amount of pinchable fat for the applicator to be able to pull the fat into the treatment chamber. It would be best for you to see a Cool Sculpting expert and to have a consultation to determine if you are a candidate.
What is the correct way to do the massage after Coolsculpting treatment?
Massage is essential after Cool Scuplting
Jan 5, 2017
Massage should be performed immediately after Cool Sculpting by the nurse or technician who performed the procedure. It is manual massage using both hands and kneading the skin and fat like you would knead dough when baking bread. By doing massage immediately after the Cool Sculpting procedure we increase the amount of fat damaged from the treatment and achieve even better results than Cool Sculpting without the massage.
I have lost 85 pounds and as a result my belly fat hangs down. Would CoolSculping be right for me?
Cool Sculpting after significant weight loss
Jan 5, 2017
Cool Sculpting can be helpful even after weight loss of 85 pounds. It all depends on how much sagging skin there is and how much fat remains. Cool Sculpting is very good at removing the fat but not particularly good at tightening excessive saggy skin. It would be best for you to see a Cool Sculpting expert to determine whether you are a candidate for the procedure. If you're not you may be candidate for a tummy tuck which is the best surgical procedure to remove excess of skin after...
Can you have Juvederm injected into your lips after a permanent lip enhancement?
Why not!
Jun 29, 2016
Absolutely. Be sure the permanent implant has been in for a while and is fully set. Then seek out an expert injector. While filling around an implant can be done, it takes special skill. When done well the results are very pleasing. Best of luck.
Restylane reversal? I have had restylane in tear trough. Not happy with results.
Tear Troughs are Tricky to Treat!
Jun 29, 2016
Tear troughs can be very tricky to treat. The 2 most common side effects are swelling, which frequently lasts a week, and bruising. It can also be very difficult to make the creases under the eyes identical. Your problem is a relatively common one. If the fullness is not from swelling but is the result of too much filler in one side or too little in the other then the filler can be reversed in 1 to 2 days with an almost painless injection of hyaluronidase. Good luck.
I'm opting for restylane fillers under my eyes. I have a green vein underneath my left eye. Will it c
Fix both the tear troughs and the green/blue vein
Jun 29, 2016
Restylane blended with xylocaine, which helps it flow better, is our favorite under eye filler. Why not also shrink the green/ blue colored vein while you are at it? It will look so much better. The long pulsed Nd:YAG laser is the treatment of choice for these unsightly veins. One to 3 treatments are usually needed and the veins usually collapse and don't ever return and the treatment barely hurts. Be sure to select a laser expert for your treatment, especially around the eye. Good luck!
Best tattoo removal cream?
Best laser to remove your tattoo
Nov 14, 2009
Creams do not work for tattoo removal. The most effective way to remove a tattoo without a scar is with a q-switched laser, such a s ruby, alexandrite or Nd:YAG laser. This will break up the pigment into tiny particles that are aloow tha tattoo to lighten over a series of treatments. Be sure to avoid using a CO2 laser or an IPL (Intense Pulse Light device) to treat your tattoo. The risk of scarring is 100%.
Can Laser be used for mole removal?
Proceed very carefully with laser for mole removal
Jul 31, 2009
For the most part lasers and light sources are not used to treat or remove moles.
In special circumstances when moles are flat and there is absolutely no concern that they may be pre malignant or malignant and when there is no chance that they may become malignant over time lasers may be used to lighten them.
Too frequently we see patients who have had atypical moles treated with lasers or moles that look much worse after treatment with whitening and scars left where then mole used to be....
Can I do milia removal myself?
Yes, you can remove milia yourself
Jul 31, 2009
If the milia are tiny and superficial use a small needle to prick the skin and pinch the spot between your index finger and thumb or between 2 cotton tipped swabs. This may do the trick.
If the milia are any bigger or not sitting high up in the skin don't attempt this at home. You'll end up with bruising, swelling, redness, and the milia will still be there when you're done. In these cases see your dermatologist or an aesthetician.
