While I agree that it is unusual to see effects of botox the same day, I have some patients swear that they see it very quickly. I agree with your doctor that the botox likely migrated to the risorius affecting the pull of the corner of your mouth. Luckily this is temporary. It is nearly impossible to damage a nerve with the needles used with Botox – I have never seen it – and at the very worst (in this unlikely hypothetical situation), it would also be temporary. Even with Daxxify, waiting 14 days to do a touch up is best. There can be subtle changes that occur in those last few days that settle any issues. For that reason, we don’t want to touch up a treatment that is still going to change. Hope this helps!

Your photos show that you are swollen from the filler. Since you also describe a bruise in the area, I believe that the area of concern should diminish. Give it a full two weeks for everything to settle and then follow up with your injecting provider if you are still concerned. Best of luck!
Dermaroller + accutane – I heard it’s risky?

While you are on a low dose of accutane, you should still wait until after you finish accutane to micro needle. Healing is greatly impaired when you are on the medication — if you ever get a cut while on the medication you will notice this. You can cause more harm than good.
Be patient and wait it out…. you can micro needle one month after finishing your course.

While not ideal, you can stop accutane for a month and pick up treatment after your trip. The results are based on cumulative dose. If your doctor wants you to continue for more than five months, then you can pick it up again after your trip. But remember if you are a woman of childbearing age, you may be locked out of the ipledge program for a period of time if you haven’t picked up a prescription within a certain window. After taking Accutane, will my face have any type of oil?

During treatment with accutane, the skin feels very dry. This resolves about one month after discontinuing treatment. You will still have oil production, but it won’t nearly be as much as before accutane. I don’t find that patients complain of dry skin once they are off the medication. I do find that many patients become addicted to lip balm out of habit and potentially need – so many continue to stay on lip balm after treatment.

It takes about two weeks to see the full effect of a botox treatment. That being said, you may still need a little bit more at least in the upper forehead since your muscle is quite strong. I would book a follow up appointment 2 weeks after your treatment so you can have a touch up if needed.
