This is a great question! Any time you have changes in your allergies and medications, it’s important to let your laser medical provider know before treatment. Doxycycline happens to be a drug that commonly could cause photosensitivity. I suggest letting your laser medical provider know. They may want to hold off on your treatment until you finish your medication and the doxycycline is out of your system.

Hi Caryn724, Restylane Defyne is a newer hyaluronic acid filler of the Restylane family and is used commonly in our office. It has their special XpresHAn Technology which we love because it creates a more natural look due to its flexibility while being robust enough to fill in areas of volume loss. Our office doesn't use this filler in the temples or under eye area. Hyaluronic acids are known to be reversible, however, I highly suggest visiting your injector to discuss your results.
