Raised in Northern California, Dr. David moved to Israel with his family as a teenager, where he served for three years in an elite paratrooper unit. During his military service, he gained experience as a medic and developed an interest in becoming a doctor.

After moving back to the United States, Dr. David received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, one of the top medical schools in the country. He went on to complete a five-year surgical residency in otolaryngology – head and neck surgery at the University of Illinois in Chicago. There, Dr. David discovered his passion for facial plastic surgery and mastered the open structure and closed rhinoplasty approaches. After his residency, he completed a fellowship at the prestigious Rousso Facial Plastic Surgery Clinic in Birmingham, Alabama.

Dr. David is board-certified by both the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery, and the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.

It is not necessary to shave your recipient area, and it looks like you may benefit from a minor procedure of perhaps 200 additional grafts to the hairline, however your fronto-temporal angles may need more. This can be confirmed with an in-person consultation.

You can absolutely have rhinoplasty just to correct the profile (side view), however sometimes minor adjustments are needed to other areas to keep the nose in balance. An endonasal approach can bypass your tip and allow the surgeon to reduce your bridge alone.

If you are looking for longer lasting results, a permanent filler such as bellafill or fat grafting may be options for you. I do not personally use bellafill around the eyes, so would suggest fat for that area.

It looks like you have a bulbous tip and could benefit from a very subtle lengthening of the nose. This can sometimes be accomplished without complicated grafting. Your upper lip already appears almost equal in size to your lower lip, and so a lip lift needs to be carefully considered... Consult with an experienced facial plastic surgeon.

It does not appear you are a candidate for a subnasal lip lift, however your upper lip looks think on the two sides. Sometimes a modified lip advancement can help with that. Consult with an experienced facial plastic surgeon to consider your options!

Rhinoplasty and lip lift can be performed at the same time if no significant change is being made to the base of the nose, however if forced to choose I would suggest performing the rhinoplasty first and then reassessing the lip. 
It was recommended to get Bellafill on boxcar scars. Why is this?

Bellafill is FDA approved and works very well for rolled and even boxcar shaped acne scars. However, it is a very long-lasting filler and that should be always be considered when injecting. Consult with an experienced injector.
