How much Voluma would I need, and what results can I expect?
Voluma
Apr 27, 2015
Thanks for your question! Voluma can give instant lifting for your volume loss that can last longer than most fillers on the market today. I have seen great success with Voluma in my practice. What I do, is get my patients to come in for a consult to see how much the patient would need and discuss pricing. Check with your physician for a consult. That way you feel comfortable going in and have all questions answered beforehand. Good luck with your Voluma! You will love it!
After VI PEEL its 5 day my eyelids are wrinkly and dry but doesn’t peel, is this normal?
VI Peel
Apr 27, 2015
Thanks for your question! The VI Peel should come with Post-procedure protectant which is a great moisturizer that helps with irritation as well. Some patients do not peel on the first try because there is so much damage to the top layer; that it may be the case in your situation since its a dry feeling. Make sure you use your moisturizer and visit your physician for any concerns. Hope this helps!
What is the best treatment for my skin?
Treatment for Acne
Apr 27, 2015
Thanks for your question. A salicylic peel works great for acne patients. You also want to make sure you are doing your homework by using an acne regimen morning and night at home. If you do your part and your doctor’s office takes care of theirs, you will be on the path to clearer skin in no time. Hope this helps!
Is it safe to use acetone after your VI Peel?
Acetone Used Before VI Peel
Apr 7, 2015
Hi there! The acetone towelette is actually the one used to prep the skin before applying the peel in the office. There may have been a mix up in towelettes or one extra placed in the bag for your take home kit. Using this acetone pad afterward will hinder your results that you could’ve had. Contact the office that performed the procedure and explain to them what happened and they should be able to compensate you in another peel. Hope that helps!
How long does voluma last?
Long Lasting Voluma
Apr 6, 2015
Thanks for your question Dee. Voluma is actually a filler that does give you instant results. The whole thing of lasting up to 2 years really depends on the individual. We have seen in it last 18 months in some of our patients; others were less. It all depends on how active a person is, their metabolism, etc. In my opinion it is worth the price due to its ability to give instant and longer lasting results than any other filler I have used in my practice. Voluma is ideal forthe cheeks,…
Am I a candidate for non surgical rhinoplasty?
Non-surgical rhinoplasty
Mar 16, 2015
Hi Monica, from what I can see in the photo, you would be a perfect candidate for non-surgical. Your doctor would use filler to make your “hump” not noticeable with an more even slope to your nose. I have seen great results with my patients and some had a larger hump than yours. Hope that helps!
I am only 22 years old, and would like to start Botox injections of the forehead. Is 22 too young
Botox at 22
Aug 27, 2014
Botox works by relaxing the muscles in your forehead. When you see a wrinkle, it is due to a repetitive movement of a muscle therefore creating a crease. We can prevent that crease from happening by going ahead with Botox injections to help smooth out your forehead. Each person metabolizes Botox at a different rate, depending on expressiveness, activity level, etc. An experienced physician will be able to determine the amount that you will need and how often.
