Both Kybella and CoolMini are non-surgical treatments used to correct a double chin, and both require multiple treatments. Kybella pros: Works well for smaller pockets of fat; is customizable; is very effective. Kybella cons: Requires injections, and numbness is more common than with CoolMini. CoolMini pros: Is effective on larger pockets of fat; CoolMini cons: Side effects may include numbness, swelling and redness
A Dermatologist Froze an Age Spot Yesterday. Is This Normal?
Liquid nitrogen (cryotherapy) is used to treat a wide range of skin conditions

Liquid nitrogen (cryotherapy) is used to treat a wide range of skin conditions, including keratoses, warts and age spots. It is one of our oldest dermatology treatments. Since this treatment doesn’t target skin pigment specifically, it works by causing a superficial burn from cold. The spot will look swollen, red and will feel tender for several hours to days after treatment, but your body will heal the burn over the next 2 to 4 weeks. Expect the spot to look worse for a…
At What Point Will Hydroquinone Stop Working on Fading Age Spots?
We use both Hydroquinone and Retin A to lighten skin pigment

We use both Hydroquinone and Retin A to lighten skin pigment, including sunspots. Typically we recommend using 4% hydroquinone twice a day for no longer than 4 months. Retin A, on the other hand, can be used long term. It’s also important to use sunscreen and avoid sun exposure when you are trying to lighten pigment. In my experience, sunspots will get lighter but will not fade completely. I would recommend discontinuing the use of hydroquinone since you’ve already seen…

Sun Damage
Jan 13, 2017
Jan 13, 2017
At first glance, the spot on your face appears to be from sun damage. Unfortunately it’s hard to tell exactly what it is based on the photograph. Before trying any other medical treatments, I suggest having the spot evaluated by a dermatologist. It’s important to keep in mind that unlike a Medical Spa, a visit to the dermatologist would most likely be covered by medical insurance.
Can the neck area ( double chin ) be treated by cool sculpting and what is the cost?
45 minutes per treatment

Depending on the size of the treatment area, the cost is $750 – $1000 and takes about 45 minutes per treatment. Most people only need one to two treatments.
For smaller areas, we often use an injectable treatment called, Kybella. This can be used in conjunction with Coolsculpting. If you have a lot of fat under your neck, we suggest using CoolSculpting. We often use Kybella to refine a chin after CoolSclupting has removed a notable amount of fat.
