Thanks for your question. I recommend a procedure called Laser Genesis. This is otherwise known as the "laser facial" and can help with enlarged pores, oiliness, lines, redness, and texture. Granulomas unfortunately can rarely happen after Juvederm injections - only the Vycross products show this tendency such as Voluma, Vollure, and Volbella. I recommend Restylane or Revanesse Versa as an alternative. Best of luck to you.

For resistant melasma, we sometimes compound a higher strength of hydroquinone (up to 12% with Kojic acid) which is usually effective. Lasers should generally be avoided since this often makes it worse. A series of Jessner's peels in the Fall may be of some benefit of as well. Make sure you're using SPF50+ physical sunscreen and a hat every day.

Cutera is generally known to have the best Nd:YAG technology. Another option to consider is a diode laser like the Alma Soprano Ice which should be safe in most skin of color except Type VI skin. Good luck!

I recommend seeing a dermatologist for anything related to moles since you must first verify that the mole wasn't cancerous. Even if it's just pigmentation left behind, a prescription will be needed for a lightening cream. Good luck!

If hydroquinone 4% isn't enough, then sometimes we need to compound into 6-12% to get better results. Also a series of Jessner's peels in the Fall (if it hasn't resolved) will be of benefit as well. Best of luck to you!

This is a common occurrence when injecting botox into the forehead. The fix is super easy and quick...usually just 1 unit on each side to bring the brows down. It can and should be fixed as soon as possible. No need to wait the full 2 weeks.

As long as the hair has pigment, it can be removed by laser. I would recommend a diode or alexandrite laser in your situation done by an expert. Best of luck!

Some providers may use numbing cream but it should be avoided as much as possible especially during the first session because accurate pain feedback is crucial in determining whether your skin is getting burned by the laser or not. Good luck!

If the scar is raised, a series of cortisone shots will first be needed to flatten it out. For the pigmentation, I recommend hydroquinone cream to be used for 2-3 months. Best of luck!

Accutane can be safely given in low doses such as 10mg twice a week to control oiliness on a long-term basis. The challenge is to find a dermatologist who will be willing to prescribe it in such an unorthodox manner since it requires lab monitoring. Best of luck!

This is post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) rather than a true scar. Hydroquinone for 2-3 months is the treatment of choice. Sunscreen SPF 50+ is mandatory. Sometimes chemical peels are added if we don't get complete resolution with the hydroquinone. Laser is always the last choice when treating PIH because there's a risk of worsening especially in skin of color. Good luck

Hello, another option to consider is radiofrequency microneedling (eg Lutronic Genius) and/or injections of hyper-dilute Radiesse. These two treatments both stimulate collagen production by different mechanisms. A series of treatments are needed but they are usually well tolerated with minimal downtime. Good luck!
