How many Clear & Brilliant laser treatments are needed?

Clear + Brilliant is a fractional laser at 1440nm. Fractionated lasers use multiple columns of laser light all over the face, so only a portion of the skin is treated at a time. We find a slight improvement in texture and tone after one treatment, but it is minimal. To see the full benefit most patients need 3 to 5 treatments.

Dear dmg12,Smile lines in a person your age are genetic, and part of your natural facial structure.They can be softened by fillers such as Juvederm or Restylane, but of course these need to be repeated every 6 to 9 months.You should wear sunscreen daily and start on a product like a retinoid.

Dear diegoo23,Wrinkles are caused by a combination of factors--mostly genetics and ultraviolet exposure.Since you can't change your genetics, you should be sure that you are protecting yourself from the sun, with a broad spectrum sunscreen, hat, and protective clothing. Beyond those basics, you may want to consider Botox and a collagen stimulating procedure, such as Clear + Brilliant, microneedling, or Fraxel.Hope that helped.

Dear septembergirl,Clear + Brilliant laser is a 1440 nm wavelength fractionated laser that improves tone, texture and fine lines in the skin with minimal downtime. While there is some collagen stimulation provided by this laser, thickening of the skin is not as prominent as with some other procedures.
