Answer Snippet
Prominent under eye veins - what treatment will get me effective results?
vein under eye
Oct 8, 2023
Normally the best and only way to treat that type of vein is using a long pulsed Nd YAG laser. It must be done carefully and typically we would need to put an eye shield over your eye during the case. It is quite simple and there should be little downtime with exception of some mild swelling.
Vbeam for redness following laser peel?
vbeam
Oct 8, 2023
Typically one should wait at least 6 to 8 weeks, because the natural healing will result in some redness.
Nose papules very slightly raised. What is the best way to treat them?
fibrous papules?
Feb 6, 2021
Without a photograph, it is hard to say what those small papules are, but I suspect they are fibrous papules, and normally we remove them with the erbium YAG laser.
I have very noticeable veins in my eyelids. I'm almost 30 years old and I have had these forever. I
can be treated!
Feb 6, 2021
Yes, those types of vessels can be treated, but it is somewhat tedious, and one must put metal eye shields and very carefully before starting the procedure. You need someone very experienced with use of laser to reduce these veins.
6 months post-ProFractional: Large holes where the laser ablated tissue causing "OrangePeel Texture"
reassuarnce
Feb 6, 2021
With those settings with that particular device, it would be highly unusual to see any "imprinting" from the small holes created. One might see some early dots on the skin for up to 1 to 2 months, but later should resolve, and I believe all will be well with more time.
What can I do for now to have my leg look normal?
filler/laser
Feb 2, 2020
For the pigment, would use an alexandrite laser (Q switched), and for the depression, would need a filler + laser
Erbium Laser or CO2? Which gives more bang for the buck? Would a deep chemical peel work just as wel
erbium vs CO2
Apr 9, 2019
We did the original study 20 years ago comparing CO2 and erbium laser- Basically one can achieve the same results with either laser; it's the depth of the procedure that really determines the downtime and results. A CO2 laser can be used so conservatively that you recover in 3 days, or and erbium laser can be applied aggressively and it can take 10 days to heal; in the right hands, both can deliver great results
