You have raised scars on the knee. The simplest and least risky treatment would be injection of 5 Fuorouracil and pressure dressings. Steroids could hypopigment your skin. Multiple treatments are necessary. If this is not effective enough, adding an ablative erbium laser will flatten the lesions with the least possible side effects. This needs to be combined with bleaching cream to prevent hyperpigmentation. Find a scar expert.

Great question. The answer depends upon the preparation of the PRP. If it’s has an anticoagulant and is prepared using only non activated platelets, occlusion can not occur. If Acell or other particles are added or if the PRP is activated, then occlusion through communicating veins is a THEORETICAL,rare possibility.
It should be noted that this has never been reported.

In my opinion, tightening of the thighs is best performed using a combination of Profound for the deeper dermal aspect and Protege for the superficial fine lines. The results are usually dramatic, and the amount of pain for the treatment is less than comparative modalities.Usually, one Profound treatment is needed and 2 Protege treatments.. In my opinion, shock loss from plain PRP does not occur if injected using the Rapaport subdermal depo technique. Possible causes of shock loss are excessive intradermal injections or using a extracellular matrix such as Acell. These put pressure on the follicles. Pearly penile papules are treated with C02 laser or some other ablative procedure. One or two sessions are usually needed. The area is numbed prior to the laser. Unfortunately, since their is no medical necessity, insurance does not cover the process.
