Go to an experienced injector to treat this area. I treat the eye troughs frequently several times a day. I like Vollure microdots deeply injected in small quantities. This area must not be over injected to avoid puffiness. I like to use a two treatment approach waiting 2 weeks between treatments. Vollure is said to last a year or so. Best Wishes, Maurice Vick MD

Go back to your injector for evaluation. Hyaluronic Acid filllers can be removed with Hyaluronidase if they bother you. You might benefit from waiting another week or two to see if it softens. Next time use Volbella as your filler. It is very soft and natural feeling. Best Wishes, Maurice Vick MD

From your pictures your lines appear to be outside the area supplied by the muscles that cause the 11 lines. That is why Botox has not helped. Hyaluronic Acid fillers can be used to smooth out the forehead. However this is a very vascular area where you should be treated by an expert to diminish the chances of accidental injection into a vessel. Best Wishes, Maurice Vick MD

Treatment in this area depends on your ability to take down time. Laser treatment with a fractional laser and Micro Laser Peel (Sciton Laser) will give a longer lasting benefit but you may have redness around your lips for several weeks. Today most of my patients choose no down time treatment with fillers and small doses of Botox. I like Volbella the best. I agree that your pictures seem to show more loose skin than fat. There may be a small pocket of fat in the mid line below your chin. See an experienced Coolsculpting provider for an exam. Dosage of Botox is dependent on your degree of muscular development and severity of the lines. (How long they have been there.) If present for a long time they will need more units to control. Usually in a woman with moderate severity I start with 10 units in forehead, 4 units in upper lip, and 3-5 units in the chin. More can be added in 2 weeks if necessary. Best wishes, Maurice Vick MD

I prefer Fillers like Voluma or Radiesse in the hands. I have seen patients who have been over injected elsewhere with fat. Since this is permanent, the fatty hands never go away. Fillers only last 1 1/2 to 2 years and HA fillers like Voluma can be removed if you don’t like them. I think they are a safer choice. Best Wishes, Maurice Vick MD

I recommend fillers to replace volume we lose with aging. This usually starts at about 40 years of age after that it has been estimated that about 5cc”s (5 one cc syringes of filler) needs to be replaced every year or so.
