Not sure what else I should do for my acne scarring?
Infini, pico or fractional ablative devices, combined with fillers should help
May 24, 2021
I am glad you are starting to see the improvements that you were hoping for. With your skin and scar type, a number of treatments may be performed including subscision, RF needling (infini), fractional ablative (co2/erbium) or non-ablative laser, picosecond lasers (I like the Enlighten III here) and finishing off with fillers.

We offer tele consults and payment plans so if you are interested, pls get in touch with us.

Best wishes
Shobhan

I am devastated by my acne and alar base scars. How can I get rid of them?
Lighter Treatments with Repeated Sessions, or Heavier Treatments
Mar 23, 2021
Your scars can definitely be improved, but you need a good specialist who is experienced in treating darker skin types.

You mentioned not being able to take much time off work, but this may mean considering one heavier ablative laser resurfacing session as opposed to multiple lighter treatments which add up to more downtime over a longer period.

With the right preparation and aftercare, co2 or erbium yag resurfacing of your scars should provide quite significant improvements, but will need…

What is the best treatment for my ice pick scars and enlarged pores?
Superficial Scarring Ideal for Combination Approach
Mar 23, 2021
It appears you have a combination of shallow icepick/boxcar scars, prominent pores, and as you expressed some pigmentation and redness issues. You also appear to have some active acne that should be addressed also to prevent further scarring.

There are a few avenues to treat, and to consider, especially if you are having to travel for treatment.

For a low downtime approach, a combination of TCA CROSS or spot CO2 technique will address your deeper scars/picks/boxcars and combining it with…

How do I treat these tethered boxcar scars?
Combine Subscision with Energy Based Device and Maybe Fill
Mar 6, 2021
Scarring like yours will improve with subscision, to release the deeper tethers, but will still need a laser/RF to improve the surface and medium level scars.

I would favour a combination of subcision and fractional CO2 resurfacing, but with preparation due to your darker skin type. There is more downtime, but significantly greater results than applying deeper energy with RF needling.

Having said that, RF needling is a good option if you have less downtime, or are looking at a less…

Can my acne scars be only treated with a couple of RF microneedling sessions or will I ne
Combination treatment approach for acne scarring
Jan 12, 2021
Thank you for your question. From the photos that you have shown us, you may not need subcision for your scars but sometimes this cannot be determined with full certainty without a physical examination.

You do have mixed scarring there with some ice picks and box scars and will likely get some improvement with a series of radio frequency micro needling treatments – 2 will likely be very modest improvements only and I would suggest a treatment course of at least 4-6 sessions spaced at least…

CO2 laser for crinkly upper eyelids?
Fractional or ablative CO2 for upper eye lid
Dec 8, 2020
When it comes to hooding that you have, surgery or low level skin tightening energy based devices such as thermage or high frequency focused ultra sound are really the best answers however you have expressed that the hooding does not concern you and it is really the wrinkles and textural change that seems to be more of an issue.

For this certainly a series of fractional CO2 laser treatments or a heavier fully ablative upper lid resurfacing with CO2 or Erbium YAG laser may yield very good…

Can I get fractional CO2 laser after PDO threads?
Co2 after pdo threads
Dec 8, 2020
Generally there should not be any contraindication to having fractional Co2 after pdo threads and we often combine both procedures consecutively with good outcomes. Ensure that you seek experienced practitioners for both procedures.
