Hello. Yes, Belotero can be used on clients with black skin. Dermal fillers work on all clients regardless of skin color. They are used to increase volume. Belotero is made up of hyaluronic acid which is a complex sugar normally found in human skin. The particle size of the HA used in Belotero is smaller than with Juvederm or Restylane and is commonly used to treat under eye hollows and superficial wrinkles.

Hello. In my practice, it can take 2-3 weeks for under eye edema from Belotero to fully resolve. If there is still swelling after 3 weeks there may be too much filer which can easily be dissolved with an enzyme.
