In my practice it is based on the amount of drainage in each tube. I use 2 for a full tummy tuck one on each side. When the drainage is under 30cc for 24 hours i remove the one. The other drainage tube usually gets pulled on the following day. Good luck

When i perform my tummy tuck procedures I mark the midline to be certain the belly button remains in the midline. I would discuss this with the PS who performed the procedure. if there is no resolution, I would seek a second opinion to discuss options. I wish you the best of luck.

Thank you for your question. I get asked this many times in consultation and treat many fitness models. Being in practice for over 26 years, i have had to perform countless number of revisionary work with implants placed over the muscle. I would recommend placing the implants in a dual plane to prevent dynamic animation deformity. I would discuss this with a board certified plastic surgeon to give you your best options.

Thank you for your question. I will tell yo that every plastic surgeon has a pre-operative regiment regarding certain medications. The concern is with blood clotting which is low is still a concern. Unfortunately scar is fully mature in one year following your surgery. There is nothing topical which will help. I have had success early on with Morpheus 8 treatments however your 3 years out. Consider medical tattooing. I wish you all the best. Please see a board certified plastic surgeon.

Great question. i would recommend asking the important question Are you board certified and in what. If they respond other than a board certified plastic surgeon that is your first flag. Second plastic surgeons are certified by either American osteopathic board of surgery or American board of medical specialists. The easiest way to find out about a surgeon is call up the hospital there affiliated with and find out if they have privileges to perform that surgery at the hospital....

Great question and concern. Yes this should have been told to you by your previous provider. I would recommend you see a plastic surgeon who feels comfortable doing this procedure. The risks are present including necrosis of skin, possible blindness if injected into the arterial vessel. There is a process in order to minimize the risks. I wish you the best of luck. Thank you for your question and the one picture. I would recommend additional photos from the lateral side to be able to best give you an opinion. Based on the one picture, I feel that the muscles either were not pulled into the midline adequately or the suture pulled apart which was placed in to repair the diastasis recti in order to repair the midline muscles. I see many patients in Chicago with a similar problem. I would recommend fat transfer or even better Renuva fat injections into the dents over the gluteal region. Renuva is synthesized fat with the DNA and adipocytes removed. It is a filler which is designed for soft tissue defects such as these. I agree there is an asymmetry in the pictures you are showing. This could be possibly related to implant pocket creation or the implant hasn't settled. Im not sure when the implants were placed.
