It's better to dissolve the bump with special injection (Hylenex, Vitrase) and not to wait until dissolves itself. But make sure the doctor is experienced.

You have a nice shape and to achieve your desired fullness I would recommend to start with 1 ml (1 Syringe) of Hyaluronic Acid (Juvederm, Restyline, etc). After at least a month you may have another syringe injection, so it will gradually increase the size of your lips. Make sure your doctor is experienced and be patient, it will not happen in one treatment.

There is not set numbers of treatments for men, due to testosterone and genetic hair follicle setup men have, specially for face. Nothing is wrong with you, continue to do laser for a maintenance, be consistent with your appointment timing and ask for gradual increase of therapeutic level of laser energy.

Fillers in the hands of expert injecter may help to mask the "bony horns". Filling the depressions will eliminate the shadow effect and will make it look smoother. I will also recommend to use longer lasting fillers like Voluma.

Very small amount of Botox/Dysport/Xeomin and there are few fills now available in US - Belotero, Restylane Silk and now also Volbella from Juvederm family are very effective. Creams cannot replace the volume loss all muscle activity.

Usually swelling last up to 2 weeks and if you see a distict lump, its probably the filler, not the swelling. It can be easaly corrected with hyaluronidase injection (Hylenex or Vitrase).
