Younger people who have CoolSculpting will find that their lax skin often comes back to its natural appearance. Older people do not have as much luck with lax skin normalizing. Because of this, in many of our patients, we will do laser skin tightening in addition to CoolSculpting so that when the fat is gone the skin is not as lax.

I have found that CoolSculpting results in a significant improvement in the vast majority of patients. On the other hand, I have not been impressed with Zerona at all. As someone who is doing a tremendous amount of CoolScuplting, I have seen quite a few patients who have been unsuccessful with Zerona and have done well with CoolSculpting.

When multiple applicators are used on multiple areas of an abdomen the cost could run as high as $5,000. Some dermatologist combine laser skin tightening with CoolSculpting. This often adds 10-20% to the cost.

Tazorac and Retin-A are both tiopical Vitamin AZ derivatives that are used to help minimize fine lines and wrinkles. Both of these are helpful, but not miracle workers. The Vitamin A derivatives often help with irregular pigmentation as well.

Lines in the upper lip are often bothersome. These unwanted lines can be filled by using a small amount of Restalyne or Juvaderm. Often these lines cannot be fully corrected as too much Restylane can make someone look fake. We, therefore, recommend considering injection of Restylane or Juvaderm combined with Laser Treatment.
