I am taking isotretinion – acnetrex 10 mg a day. Today is my 4th day.
Oral retinoid’s side effects
Feb 9, 2019
It is possible that your headaches have different reason than your medication but it is always safer to stop and see your doctor to review and assess the cause of headaches. Unfortunately, isotretinoin may cause headaches.
Should I continue applying it? Or stop? I’m abroad and my dermatologist is in other country. (Photos
Too much glycolic acid
Feb 9, 2019
For whatever reason you get more side effects now from the glycolic acid. It is exactly it- the acid and intended to dry the skin but side effects are: dryness, irritation, redness, or stinging. But do not worry, just stop it for now and see your dermatologist next visit to discuss how much and how often your skin needs it.
What type of acne do I have?
Nodular Cystic Acne
Feb 9, 2019
You have cystic acne with at least 1-2 nodular lesions ( meaning quite deep and likely to resolve with a scar). I would advise you to seek a dermatologist opinion on the management and start as soon as you can. Oral retinoids medications would be a treatment of choice in your case and results are quite good usually.
Good luck with your acne treatment.
