Hi it appears your scars are either from old acne lesions or if you picked at your skin. This can be treated with a series of laser treatments but I would recommend seeing a dermatologist with advanced training in lasers and also an expert in skin of color.

Bruising can occur with Coolsculpting but is much less an issue with the newest applicators which our office was one of the first in the country to have. If you were treated with the old applicators then bruising is much more likely especially if you were treated in a medispa or office setting (non-dermatologist or plastic surgeon office) that does not have expertise in the procedure.

4th nose surgery and TERRIBLE scars. Surgeon wants to cut me again and I won't let this happen!

Hello, I must respectfully disagree with the use of peels for your facial scars which appear due to previous acne. I do not believe this is an effective treatment option to treat the deeper aspects of the scars. I've had great success in ethnic skin using fractionated radiofrequency with microneedling. The device I use is the Infini and gives significant improvement with a series of treatments. Treatment costs ranges depending on the area but for the face I charge 750-1500 per treatment.

Hello sorry about your accident. Seems like you have a hypertrophic scar. This is a very tough area to have scar revision on in my opinion. I have had good experience improving these scars with lasers. A dermatologist with advanced training in lasers is your best bet for expertise in a non-invasive approach to treating this scar.

It isn't just figuring out what applicator to use, the results also depend on how the applicator is placed. In my office, I personally perform the placement of the applicator and do not delegate this to a non-physician or a spa beautician.
