It is normal to not see any changes at 4 months. For hair transplant it takes 5 months for most of the hairs to start growing. At one year you will see your final results.You just need to be patient throughout the process.

There are 2 mechanisms occurring here. Shortening of vertical fibers in the skin and a slow build up of collagen and elastin in your skin. The latter can take up to 6 months. Concurrently, the effectiveness of this treatment is dependent upon the tightening potential of your skin: this decreases with age.
Since this is not a fat loss procedure, measurements may not be sensitive for results here. I would wait the 6 months to see if you get the skin tightening effect.

We can not know for sure for it depends on your exact condition. We usually have all patients go for a medical clearence prior to any surgery but in this case it would be mandatory. Sorry to hear that happened. In general, waiting 6 months for a scar revision is standard. If something is unsightly however, it can be done sooneer. We wait because many scars improve on their own to a point. If this is just not in the right place, a revision can be done sooner to get closure, eliminate thicken scar and restore the appearance. 4 weeks thereafter, Lasers for scars can reduce the scar appearance ever further if you so desire. If the rides are mild with no sudden movements where you have to hold on tight, that should be OK in 4-6 weeks. Your Surgoen is the best one to answer this for YOU. The problem is we so not want the implants to shift or widen the pocket resulting in a deformity.
